Thick Film High Power Chip Resistor

Looking for a high wattage chip with great stability? The ALX offers great stability coupled with high wattage in an SMD. This is accomplished with the use of an Aluminum Nitride substrate. Aluminum Nitride (AlNi) dissipates heat far more efficiently than standard Alumina or Ceramic substrates. Ohmite has engineered a thin film printing process for the AlNi substrate creating an optimal chip for high power. Offered in two sizes, 1206 and 2512, the ALX provides up to 6 watts of power handling. The ALX is offered in 0.1% tolerance standard and temperature coefficients down to 25 ppm providing a chip with great stability.
