Business Development Representative
Description
The Company Ohmite Manufacturing Company has been the leading provider of resistive products for high current, high voltage, and high energy applications for nearly 100 years. We offer a broad selection of Power Resistors to worldwide customers in the industrial, medical, military, and aerospace industries. Through ongoing product development, we continue to provide the latest in resistor technology required by today's sophisticated high voltage, high current, and high energy circuit designs. Our mission is to solve customer problems related to heat and power.
The Position
The Business Development Representative generates revenue by helping existing customers, qualifying new opportunities, understanding, and interpreting basic technical requirements, and developing accounts in collaboration with direct Sales Managers, Manufacturer Representatives, and resellers.
The role is based in Warrenville, IL. We are in the office as a team, with optional WFH two days per week (fixed schedule).
Warehouse Supervisor
Description
Responsible for assisting the Warehouse manager in the overall operation of the Warehouse/Shipping Plant to include daily functions of overseeing accuracy, timeliness, safety, and supervision of personnel. Responsible for providing team support within the Warehouse/Shipping Plant to foster accuracy and excellence in quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities and Priorities
- Assists the warehouse manager with planning & coordinating, reviews procedures and processes, to ensure shipment of materials from facility as well as receipt of inbound materials.
- Coordinates assignment of carriers of shipments.
- Trains, and supervises all department staff.
- Promotes good safety practices and adherence to company safety policies and procedures within the department.
- Serves on facility committees and performs special functions as assigned by management.
- Reports any work-related injury or illness to supervisor immediately and prior to the end of the scheduled shift
- Will perform other additional responsibilities as assigned.
